In six targeted sessions we will hit all the hot topics for STEM Women today, and give lots of time for discussion, networking and questions:

Session 1: Putting Yourself Out There (Introvert friendly session!)

Are you uncomfortable with initial interactions and introductions?  Would you rather hide in your office or at the back of the conference room?  In this first session, we will:

• Get to know each other through comfortable intros.
• Talk about strategies for interacting, networking, self-promotion, and understanding imposter syndrome.
• Identify skills that you can develop and practice.

Session 2: Breaking Through Bias

As women, we are conditioned from a young age to conform to bias.  Sometimes we don't even recognize it.  But you have to see it to overcome it.

• Recognize Unconscious Bias, Microaggressions, and Toxic Cultures.
  
• Different Types of Bias affecting STEM Women.
• Strategies for diffusing or dealing with Bias.

Session 3: What it takes to be a Leader

Women excel at leadership, and you STEM Woman have what it takes.  It's a skill like any other that you can develop.

• Key characteristics of leadership that you can work on today.
  
• How STEM women can lead.
• Positioning yourself to lead in a STEM environment.
  

Session 4: Getting That Promotion

Do you want to climb that ladder? 

• What promotions really mean, it's not what you think.
  
• Why it's so hard for STEM Women to advance. (The "Potential" Problem")
  
• Tips to judge your opportunities and go for them.
  

Session 5: Juggling Everything, Every Day

Balancing your career, home life, technology, and education is no joke.  And you can't do it without taking care of yourself.

• Am I Enough? Prioritizing what is important.
• Setting Boundaries and Managing Time.
• The importance of self-care and stress management
  

Session 6:  Your Career GPS

 You can't get there if you don't know where you want to go.

• Identify what you really want.
  
• Create your career vision.
  
• Layout an actionable plan.
  

Of course, in the last session we will also wrap up and summarize, and have time for any subjects and questions that didn't already come up.
